On August 26, 2007, five, young talented singers were chosen to form the hottest hip-hop quintet. The band members were exclusively hand-picked by Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, live on MTV’s Making the Band, Season 4. In February 2008, Qwanell “Q” Mosley, Robert Curry, Brian Andrews, Willie Taylor and Mike McCluney proved success as they topped the US Billboard 200 with a self-titled album.
Willie Taylor- Singer/Dancer. Chicago native. Inspired by Temptations, Stevie Wonder and Jagged Edge. Favorite track is “Imma Put It on Her.”
Brian Andrews- Singer/Dancer. Texas native. Inspired by K-Ci, Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson. Favorite track is “Your Heels.””
Mike McCluney- Singer/Dancer. South Carolina native. Inspired by The Clark Sisters, Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. Favorite tracks are “Bipolar” and “Perfectly Blind.”
Robert Curry- Singer/Dancer. Michigan native. Gospel influenced. Wrote “Truth is a Lie” on Forever in a Day. Signature voice was said to give P. Diddy chills when he performed on MTV’s MTB, Season 4.
Qwanell "Q" Mosley- Singer/Dancer. New York native. Wrote “Perfectly Blind” on Forever in a Day. “Q” opted for the MTB Season 4 opportunity instead of his full scholarship to Five Towns College. His gutsy choice led him to success. He is the youngest group member.
