Shoe Giveaways for Those Who Need it Most

Heels.com wanted to give back to our community in these trying times. We searched for how our product, women's shoes, could best help people that are struggling in the current economy. Our solution was to do a shoe giveaway for unemployed women that are trying to get help at community employment centers. The response has been more rewarding than we could have ever imagined.

The first event was in our home town of Charlotte, North Carolina and between the gratefulness of the women we helped and the response from the area news networks, we knew we had to do more. We have since held the event in Greensboro, North Carolina; Morganton, North Carolina; Columbia, South Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Atlanta, Georgia.

Our brands have also gotten involved. As soon as some of the shoe brands that we sell found out about what we were doing, they wanted to help. Baby Phat has already donated over 100 shoes so we can continue to give back to local communities.
