These shoes are sky high. They say 5 1/2 inches and they mean it. The shoes fit nicely with no gaps or looseness but they run small. I'm a 7.5 to an 8 and my heels hang off the back ever so slightly. That may change a little once they're broke in. We'll see. The heel tip is not quite a stiletto and thats good. Just wide enough that you don't feel too tippy in these. Although the double platform is pretty narrow at the bottom but not bad. I don't usually go for this tall of a shoe, but I like these ones. Gotta be pretty brave to wear these out!
